This antique pedestal or Naga singing bowl has a very nice mid octave C fundamental when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer, and a high fifth octave F when played with a wooden one.   This bowl is extremely responsive and easy to play.

 

This is a well-made Naga bowl with a strong pedestal and fine even walls and lip.  The outer wall is decorated in typical Naga style with four pairs of engraved lines forming a collar just below the rim.
