This is a medium size fine-walled antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with a third octave E fundamental (162Hz) when struck or played with a suede ringer.  The rim note changes to a middle Bb (461hz) if a wooden ringer is employed.  This is an old bowl and its walls have been worn smooth over time and little evidence remains of its original decorative features.  Nonetheless it is clean and structurally sound, is very responsive and has a nice voice.
