Antique Remuna Singing Bowl. B3 Note (Crown Chakra)

This is a very nice example of this sought-after bowl form in an uncommon and very beautiful third octave B note. This antique Remuna singing bowl is also a little larger, heavier and thicker than most and is particularly well forged, having walls of an even thickness and an excellent level grooved lip.
This is an older bowl that benefits from some decorative incised banding on the outer wall, and an inscription, but these are now faint, having been worn smooth with use over the years. There is a small circle at the bowl’s centre.
The great thing about virtually all Remuna bowls is they all have lovely voices. I have yet to come across one that doesn’t impress with its ease of play and purity of sound…and this bowl is no exception. The B3 note is the same whether stuck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer. Both the struck and the rim note are particularly lovely. Furthermore, this bowl has some talking and fountain ability!
This bowl is in excellent structural condition and virtually free of stains and blemishes.
A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
