Antique Remuna Singing Bowl – F#3 & C5 – Reduced

Antique Remuna Singing Bowl. Notes F#3 & C5 (Heart & Root Chakras)
Weight 872 grams (1 lb 15 oz). Size 18 x 9.5 cm (7 ¼ x 3 ¾ inches)
This is a rare 19th century Remuna Singing Bowl with two great voices…a third octave F#3 (189Hz) fundamental when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer, and a fifth octave C5 (538Hz) when played with a wooden ringer.
This Singing Bowl has the classic shape and sonic characteristics of a Remuna bowl with its slightly globular wall, sheered lip, and decorative bands encircling its belly. Unusually there are also two bands of dots around the outer rim.
Remuna bowls are renowned for their beautiful voices and ease of play.
This bowl is in good structural condition, clean and stain-free with a nice golden bronze colour. However, there is a small cosmetic issue; a very tiny chip just below the rim which misses the playing edge and does not in any way affect the sound. The price is reduced to reflect this cosmetic imperfection.
A ringer is included in the price.
