This old Remuna singing bowl is very responsive and has a particularly lovely voice…a third octave A that is virtually concert pitch when struck, and spot on when played around the rim with a ringer.  Furthermore, if played with water inside, it has the unusual ability to simultaneously talk and make fountains!

 

This is a nice quality bowl that has seen a lot of use over the years as its decorative features (grooved lip, banding below the rim, around the belly and underneath) are now quite faint in places.  However, its general condition is very good and the bowl is quite clean.  It also benefits from a small inscription.

 

A nice bowl with an exceptional voice in an uncommon A note.
