Antique Thadobati Singing & Talking Bowl – C4 & Great Talker!

Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl.  C4 (257Hz) Root Chakra

This antique Thadobati Singing Bowl has a good middle C fundamental (257Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  However, it really comes into its own as a very responsive talking bowl when played around the rim and rocked back and forth with a little water inside.

This bowl is typical of the Thadobati form with its flat bottom and fairly straight high-sided wall.  There are circles at its slightly mounded centre, and it has a decorative collar of suns below the outer rim.   This is an old bowl and these decorative features are now quite faint in places. 

Nonetheless, this bowl is in good structural condition and is basically clean but with some light stains in places.  But don’t let that put you off…this antique Thadobati bowl sings well and is an excellent talker!
