This antique Thadobati singing bowl has a perfect concert pitch third octave Bb fundamental (233Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer. The rim note changes to a fifth octave E (669Hz) with a wooden ringer.

This antique bowl has the typical Thadobati form with high-sided walls, flat bottom, and grooved lip. There are circles at its centre and outer rim is decorated with a border of dots.

The structural condition of this bowl is excellent and it is very clean for its age. The walls have been worn smooth over time and are nice to the touch, and it has golden bronze colour.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a ringer are included in the price.
