Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl. Notes: F#3 & C5 (Throat & Root Chakras)

This is a typical antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a high-sided gently curved wall, sheered lip, and wide flat bottom. There’s a band of decorative punched dots around the outer rim, and faint circles at its centre.
The fundamental note is a third octave F# (189Hz) when struck with a padded mallet and an incredibly powerful fifth octave C (524Hz) when played around the rim with a ringer. It’s a responsive and easy to play bowl.
It’s an older bowl that has seen a lot of use and ritual cleaning, but it is structurally sound, clean, and free of stains, with an antique golden bronze colour.
A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
