Believed to date from the 18th century this large Thadobati Singing Bowl in its uncleaned ‘as found’ condition…tarnished with grime inside and out (some would say a rich patina).  If you like your singing bowls to have the look and feel of great antiquity then this bowl will delight!   It is structurally sound and would clean up nicely if desired.  This is a nice quality bowl with a good lip and a sun motif decoration surrounding the outer rim.  It’s a responsive bowl…the struck and played notes being the same C#4 (280Hz).  Beneath the patina this bowl is in excellent condition.
