Small Antique Singing Bowls are incredibly rare, and tiny ones even more so.  They are highly sought after by collectors, healers and practitioners.  With a diameter of just 3 ¾ inches (9.5 cm) and weighing just 6 ounces (171 grams) this absolute gem, my smallest ever bowl, and will likely be snapped up quickly by a collector.  Its relatively high price reflects its rarity, uniqueness, and superb quality.

This beautifully crafted 19th Century Singing Bowl looks rather like a miniature Jambati with its gently curved walls, a deeply grooved triangulated lip, and a rounded bottom.  The well-defined decorative artwork around the outer rim is a particularly nice feature.  There are circles at its centre, and lines around its belly.

It is a responsive bowl and easy to play.  The fundamental note is a nice fifth octave E5 (548Hz) when struck or played around the rim with a ringer but, if desired, the rim note will readily develop into a high  sixth octave B6 (1938Hz).  This tiny antique bowl easily sits on the palm of the hand for playing and, despite its light weight, doesn’t spin when playing.

It is structurally sound, clean and stain-free, with a nice golden bronze colour.

A superb, unique, attractive and desirable tiny Antique Singing Bowl with a great voice – Sheer Perfection!

A ringer is included in the price.
