Ultabati bowls are known for their caldron-like form, their remarkable vibrant energy, and their ability to produce very low notes.  And with a fantastic perfect pitch second octave Bb (116Hz) this bowl is no exception.   

Most Ultabati singing bowls are large and heavy, and although this bowl is large by most standards, it’s actually rather small for an Ultabati. 

This fact alone will be of interest to anyone seeking a bowl that is comfortable to hand-hold and capable of resonating at a low frequency.

The struck and played notes are the same superb Bb2 but there are several harmonics that can be brought out when playing around the rim, notably an F4 (345Hz) and E4 (333Hz).

This bowl is structurally sound and in good condition.  It has a dark bronze colour and the patina associated with age and use.  A heavy ringer is included in the price.
