This exquisite medium size antique Jambati Singing Bowl has enormous aesthetic appeal with its perfect proportions and superb craftsmanship. Heavy for its size, its finely hammered walls have been worn beautifully smooth over time, leaving a subtly mottled surface inside and out. It has a triangulated lip and a decorative band around the outer rim.

The fundamental note is a third octave F (173Hz) when struck or played around the rim with a suede ringer. The rim note changes to a fifth octave C (520Hz) if a wooden ringer is employed.

This antique bowl is in museum quality condition…structurally sound, clean and free of stains, and is as lovely to look at and hold, as it is to play.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, a padded mallet and a ringer are all included in the price.
