Exquisite Very Rare Tiny Antique Lingam Singing Bowl – My Smallest!

This is an extremely rare tiny antique lingam singing bowl of exceptional quality. Weighing 275 grams and with a diameter of just 10 cm it is the smallest I have come across in over 40 years of collecting. It shows signs of use but its near pristine condition makes it difficult to date.
The fundamental note is a bright fifth octave E5 (676Hz) when struck with a wooden ringer, and 672Hz when played around the rim. It is very responsive and easy to play.
It is beautifully proportioned and fits snugly in the palm of the hand. Its curved wall is thick for its size. It has a grooved lip and a rounded bottom. There is a mound-like lingam at its centre and a tiny navel or yoni underneath. The outer wall is smooth at the top with a contrasting textured surface below, separated by a line. Another line with two rows of tiny dots encircles and decorates the outer rim.
It has a bright golden bronze colour.
