This tiny antique Thadobati singing bowls ranks among the best sounding voices I have come across in a small bowl. The amazing fifth octave C# (544) fundamental is both powerful and sonorous when struck or played around the rim with a suede ringer, while a wooden ringer will produce an excellent penetrating sixth octave F# (1496Hz).

This pretty little bowl fits neatly into the palm of a small hand and, unlike many other small lightweight bowls; this one doesn’t rotate with the ringer and is immediately responsive and easy to play.

It has a particularly nice shape, is structurally sound, and clean, with a matt bronze colour. There are decorative circles at its centre and around the belly. A Tibetan silk brocade mat and a small double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
