Unique Antique Singing Bowl – Dual E2/F2 Concert Pitch (Solar Plexus & Heart Chakras)

This large and extraordinary antique bowl is one of my all-time Top 5!  Its unique form generates a sound unlike any other bowl I have come across in 30 years of collecting…a glorious and powerful low second octave flickering concert pitch fundamental E/F/E/F/E/F (85 – 88 Hz).   It also has a pronounced B3 harmonic (246Hz).  Its amazing voice is the same whether struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  This bowl resonates at a frequency that will produce the OM sound, and it will also create fountains if played with a little water inside.  A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, a padded striker and a suede ringer are included in the price.

This ancient bowl has been expertly forged and has a beautiful and wonderfully unique shape.  There are two small circles at its centre, the larger of which is decorated with six radiating triangular groups of three suns (punched dot within a circle).  Beyond these two circles are three larger ones, the last of which is surrounded by a chain of suns.

On the outer wall, just above the widest point or hip, there is a pair of decorative incised lines.  Groups of three suns form upward pointing triangles at intervals around the upper line, while a chain of suns encircle the bowl below the lower one.

This wonderful bowl is believed to date from the 18^th century.  It is in excellent structural condition and has the look of great antiquity coupled with a real feeling of power and purpose.

It’s hard for me to part with this amazing bowl and I’m sure it will be on everyone’s wish list!  A rare opportunity!
