Weight 3.06 kilos (6 lb 12 oz). Size 33 x 17 cm (approx. 13 x 6 ¾ inches)
This is without doubt one of the finest Jambati bowls I have come across in 30 years of collecting. It’s majestic 13-inch size and graceful form is matched by a truly glorious and low perfect pitch Bb (116.7Hz) voice with an exceptionally long pulsating sustain.
This is a bowl of considerable beauty, and in fabulous condition were it not for an elderly, stable, and fine 1-inch hairline crack across the floor. It would take close examination and a very keen eye to find it, and it has absolutely no impact whatsoever on this bowl’s exquisite sound. Nonetheless, I have reduced its price to take this cosmetic issue into account, and I am confident that its new custodian will find it a bargain!
A large Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, a padded mallet and a large striker are all included in the price.
