This graceful low profile antique singing bowl has an excellent B3 (251Hz) fundamental when struck and borders on concert pitch (246/9Hz) when played around the rim with a suede ringer.  The rim note changes to a fifth octave F# (745Hz) if a wooden ringer is employed.

This 19th century bowl has been superbly crafted and is in excellent condition.  It has a level grooved rim and well-defined circles at its centre.  The outer wall is covered in small hammer marks and is particularly beautiful.  It also has a really lovely rich golden bronze colour and the look and feel of antiquity.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, padded striker, and a ringer are all included in the price.
