This is a huge, heavy and handsome antique Jambati Singing Bowl with two excellent voices…a low perfect pitch Bb2 (116/7Hz) with a strong pulse and a long sustain when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a squed ringer, and an F#4 (365Hz) harmonic with an equally long sustain when played around the rim with a wooden ringer. 

This antique bowl has all the typical characteristics of the Jambati form…a triangulated lip with a banded collar, and circles at its centre.

This antique singing bowl is in superb structural condition, clean and stain-free. 

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, a large padded striker, and a ringer are all included in the price.
