This is a rare superior quality flat-bottomed antique Jambati Singing Bowl with two superb perfect pitch voices…a pulsating second octave Bb fundamental (116Hz) with a long sonorous sustain when struck, and a beautiful middle octave F (349Hz) when played around the rim with a suede ringer.

This lovely old bowl has been beautifully crafted with thick walls and features a sheered lip with decorative banding below the outer rim, and circles at its centre.

The structural condition of this bowl is excellent.  It has a lovely golden bronze colour and is free of stains inside and out, and with some light oxidization inside.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, padded mallet, and a ringer are all included in the price.

A superb specimen with two exceptional voices!
