This golden bronze antique Jambati Singing Bowl has a truly beautiful pulsating third octave F fundamental (174Hz) that is perfect concert pitch when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  It also has a very long sustain.  The rim note changes to a piercing fifth octave C (536hz) if a wooden ringer is used.

This is a heavy bowl for its size, with well forged thicker than average walls.  It has a smooth triangulated lip, circles at the centre, and boldly incised decorative bands around the outer rim.  It is structurally sound and free of stains and blemishes.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, a striker, and a ringer are all included in the price.
