This huge premium quality Antique Jambati Singing Bowl has a particularly lovely third octave C# fundamental (142Hz) with a gentle pulse and long sustain when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.

It has a wide, plain, and gently undulating triangulated lip that slightly slopes inwards, a pair of concentric circles at its centre, and typical decorative bands encircling the outer rim. 

This rare antique bowl is structurally sound and basically clean, with attractive hand-beaten walls that have been worn sensually smooth over the passage of time. 

Antique Jambati Singing Bowls of this size and quality are now extremely hard to source in the Himalayas, and opportunities to acquire one are few and far between.
