This large 10 ¾ ” Antique Singing Bowl has the classical Jambati form with its graceful curved wall and rounded bottom.  It has a flat triangulated lip, and there are decorative circles at its centre and incised bands encircling the outer rim.  It has attractive mottled hammer markings and a dark bronze colour.

This bowl has an excellent low pulsating second octave G# fundamental (104Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer, and middle Eb (314Hz) when played with a wooden one.

It has been expertly forged and is structurally sound. 

A padded striker and a suede ringer are included in the price.
