This beautiful antique bowl has two excellent voices – a third octave C (134Hz) fundamental when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  However, the rim note will readily change to virtually perfect pitch middle G (393Hz) if desired.  And the C3 fundamental and the G4 harmonic are amazing when they sing together.

This very substantial and exceptionally heavy Antique Jambati Singing Bowl has a relatively low profile, a flat bottom, thick even walls, a triangulated grooved lip, and circles at its centre and around the outer rim.   It is in excellent structural condition, clean and free of stains and blemishes.

A Tibetan silk brocade cushion, a padded striker, and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are all included in the price.
