This is a good quality large antique Naga Singing and Healing Bowl with a particularly long illustrated inscription spanning almost half of the bowl’s circumference.  The inscription is sandwiched between a large eagle on one side and a large lotus on the other.  I have seen peacocks engravings before, and even an elephant, but never an eagle.

 

This bowl is very responsive and easy to play, and sings a very nice mid octave Eb whether stuck or played around the rim.

 

This is a very handsome singing bowl, solidly constructed, and with classic Naga proportions.  It has typical decorative banding below the outer rim and is in excellent structural condition.

 

A double-ended teak and suede ringer is included in the price.
