Large Top Quality Antique Naga Singing & Healing bowl – Superb F4 & Bb5

Antique Naga Singing Bowl.  Notes: F4 & Bb5 (Heart & Crown Chakras)

Weight 1.13 kilos (2 lb 7 ¾ oz).  Size 18.5 x 13 cm (7 ¼ x 5 inches)

This is a top quality large antique Naga or Pedestal Singing Bowl with a superb middle F4 voice (342Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  The rim note changes to a powerful and penetrating fifth octave Bb5 (956Hz) with a wooden ringer.

It is unusually heavy for this rare bowl form and has a thick lip and multiple decorative bands around the outer rim.   It is in excellent structural condition, attractive and basically clean but with a stain inside which could probably be removed if desired. 

A fabulous antique Naga/Pedestal Bowl with a great voice.
