This is a large and magnificent deep bodied antique Jambati Singing Bowl with an incredibly powerful and pure third octave F fundamental (176Hz) and has one of the best voices in my entire Jambati collection.  The beautiful struck note is also quite close to concert pitch.  The rim note is the same F3 when played with a suede ringer but changes to a good C5 (512Hz) if a wooden ringer is employed.

This large antique bowl is beautifully forged and has very attractive small hammer markings covering both inner and outer surfaces.  It has a grooved lip, circles at its centre, and incised bands forming a decorative collar below the outer rim.

This bowl is very clean and is structurally sound.  Its dark matt bronze colour adds to its gravitas and presence.   A padded striker, a Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a ringer are all included in the price.
