Magnificent & Unique 18th Century Lingam Singing Bowl – Perfect Pitch D4

This 18^th Century Lingam Singing Bowl has a rare and wonderful shape and the most gorgeous color and aged patina.  Its gracefully curved high-sided wall is a distinguishing feature that marks it out from the vast majority of other singing bowls.  And it has been superbly crafted inside and out.  The walls are sensually smooth and of an even thickness, as is the grooved lip.  There is a small but perfect lingam surrounded by circles at its centre, and a neat navel or yoni underneath.

The excellent fundamental note is a perfect pitch middle octave D4 (295Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer. 

This outstanding antique Lingam Singing Bowl is in superb structural condition and has a fabulous matt dark gold bronze colour and the aged patina of antiquity.

As a lifelong collector of antique lingams this exceptional bowl is hard to part with!
