This large premium quality antique Jambati Singing Bowl has a beautiful struck note that hovers between the cusp of a third octave E and F (166Hz – 168Hz). Jambati E notes are extremely uncommon, and therefore sought after, and with a little practice it is possible to separate these two notes. The rim note tends towards the F3 with a suede ringer, but changes to a fifth octave C (512Hz) with a wooden one.

This is a beautifully forged bowl with a smooth outer wall and an even triangulated lip. There are radiating concentric circles at its centre, and decorative incised bands encircling the outer rim.

It is in excellent structural condition, clean and stain-free, with light copper oxidization inside. It has a lovely golden bronze colour.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, padded mallet, and a ringer are all included in the price.
