Antique Jambati Singing Bowl.  Notes: G#3 & Eb5 (Throat & Solar Plexus Chakras)

This is a 9 ¼ ” antique Jambati Singing Bowl with two superb notes, both quite close to perfect concert pitch …a third octave G#3 (204-206Hz) depending where on the wall it is struck (high or low) with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  The rim note changes to a high fifth octave Eb5 (621Hz) with a wooden ringer.

Bowls of this size and weight are comfortable to hold and play for an extended period without tiring.  This one has been expertly crafted and features a deep body form with very attractive hammer markings to the outer wall. It has a rounded bottom, triangulated lip, decorative bands encircling the outer rim, and circles at its centre.

This antique bowl is in excellent structural condition, clean and free of stains, and has a nice golden bronze colour. 

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, padded striker, and 2 ringers are all included in the price.
