Rare Antique Lingam Singing Bowl – D4 (288-290Hz)

Weight 1.10 kilos (2 lb 6 ¾ oz).  Size 19 x 9.5 cm (7 ½ x 3 ¾ inches)

This is a top quality thick-walled antique Lingam Singing Bowls with an even lip, and a prominent lingam at its centre surrounded by circles, matched by a deep navel or yoni underneath.  Two bands of tiny cuts form a decorative collar around the outer rim.

The fundamental note is a good middle D (288 – 290Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede or wooden ringer.

This antique bowl is in excellent structural condition, golden and clean, with light copper oxidization inside.  It has a particularly nice look and feel.

A padded striker and double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
