Rare Antique Mounded-Lingam Singing & Talking Bowl – G3 (195Hz)

Antique Lingam Singing Bowl.  Note G3 (Root Chakra)

This is a rare small antique singing and talking bowl with a mounded centre and a matching depression underneath. It has been very well forged and has fine smooth even walls, a sheered lip with a single decorative line around the rim, and a rounded bottom.

The fundamental note is a third octave G (195-197Hz) that varies a little according to the type of striker or ringer used. Antique bowls with mounded centres such as this often have interesting talking abilities when played around the rim with a little water inside, and this bowl is no exception.

It is in excellent structural condition and has a lovely shiny antique bronze colour and the look and feel of antiquity.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
