Rare Antique Remuna Singing Bowl in ‘As Found’ Condition – C4 (266Hz)

This is nice quality rare antique Remuna Singing Bowl with all its decorative features intact.  It looks grubby because it is still in its original ‘as found’ condition and hasn’t yet been cleaned, as most are, by the Tibetan bowl dealer who sourced it.  I quite like it as it is!

This bowl, like all Remuna, has an excellent voice…a middle C (266Hz) when struck or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  The rim note changes to a fifth octave F# (746Hz) if a wooden one is used.

This bowl is in excellent structural condition.  It has finely forged walls, a grooved lip, circles at its centre, and a pair of decorative parallel lines encircling its belly. 

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a ringer are included in the price.
