Rare Large 9” Antique Lingam Singing Bowl – F#3/G3 & C#5

This rare large Antique Lingam Singing Bowl has an excellent third octave F#3 fundamental (190Hz) that leans towards G3 (194Hz) depending upon how and where it is struck and the type of striker employed.  The rim note is F#3 with suede and C#5 (567Hz) with a wooden ringer.  All the notes are very nice.

This bowl has a graceful form with walls that rise gently from a small flattish base.  It has a particularly attractive polished golden interior with a neat Lingam at its centre surrounded by two sets of circles, and a deep navel underneath.  The outer wall is smooth to the touch. 

It is clean and structurally sound, and has a bright golden colour inside and out.   A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, padded striker and a ringer are all included in the price.
