Antique Lingam Singing Bowl. Note: D4 & G#5 (Sacral & Throat Chakras)
Weight 1 lb 7 ¾ oz. (674 grams). Size 15 x 8.5 cm (6 x 3 ¼ inches)
Rare medium-size Antique Lingam Singing Bowl with a high-sided form, sheered lip, decorative band of dots around rim, faint circles surrounding a neat lingam at its centre, and a yoni/navel underneath. This antique bowl benefits from a long dot-punched inscription on the outer wall – a rarity on lingam bowls.
The fundamental note is a nice middle D (300Hz) when struck or played around the rim with a ringer. If desired the rim note will transition to a powerful and penetrating fifth octave G#5 (843Hz). It is a very responsive bowl and easy to play. This antique lingam singing bowl has a lovely bright golden bronze colour and is structurally sound and free of stains and blemishes.
A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a ringer are included in the price.
