Rare Medium-Size Antique Lingam Singing Bowl – Excellent C#4 (272Hz) – Inscription

Antique Lingam Singing Bowl.   Note: C#4 (Root Chakra)

Weight 2 lb 4 ¼ oz. (1.03 kilos).   Size 18 x 9 cm (7 x 3 ½ inches)

Rare superior quality medium-size Antique Lingam Singing Bowl with thick walls, grooved lip, and a graceful form.  There are decorative dots and bands encircling the rim, circles around the middle, and around the beautiful pointed lingam at its centre.  It has a neat yoni/navel underneath.

The fundamental note is an excellent middle C#4 (272Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  The rim note changes to a fifth octave G5 (787Hz) with a wooden ringer.  This attractive antique lingam singing bowl also benefits from a small inscription, and is structurally sound and free of stains and blemishes.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a ringer are included in the price.
