Unusual Antique Singing Bowl.   F#3 Note (Heart Chakra)

This is a rare form of antique Tibetan singing bowl with fine steeply sloping walls and an inward facing lip that rises up from the rim.

 

This bowl is very well constructed and in superb condition.  It has attractive contrasting hammer markings to the outer surface, and a nice antique bronze colour.

 

This large bowl sits comfortably in the hand and is easy to play.  The fundamental note is a beautiful pulsating and haunting third octave F# whether struck or played around the rim.  The rim note is particularly lovely.  Highly recommended!

 

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
