This small 19th century antique Lingam singing bowl features a decorative chain of sun motifs (punched dots surrounded by circles) around the outer rim, and a pretty lingam at its centre surrounded by a pair of concentric circles.   The hammered outer surface is also particularly attractive.

 

The bowl fits very comfortably into the palm of the hand and its lovely forth octave B fundamental is a delight to play. 

 

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and ringer are included in the price.

 

The condition of this rare little bowl is excellent, clean and free of blemishes.
