Rare Small Antique Remuna Singing Bowl – E3 & Bb4

Antique Singing Bowl.  Note E3 (170Hz) – Solar Plexus Chakra

Weight 358 grams (0 lb 12 ½ oz).  Size 15 x 8 cm (6 x 3 inches)

This is a small and lightweight example of this uncommon and sought-after bowl form.  It has a third octave E fundamental (170Hz) and an excellent middle octave Bb (462Hz) when played around the rim with a suede ringer.  Like all Remuna bowls it is very responsive and a delight to hold and play.

This bowl has smooth walls inside and out, circles at its centre, and decorative lines encircling the rim and around its belly, all of which are now quite faint.

 This bowl is in excellent structural condition for its age.  It is clean, virtually free of stains and blemishes, and has a nice golden colour.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
