This beautiful little antique Tibetan Singing Bowl has a unique shape and a concert pitch fundamental…a wonderful fifth octave G.  The note is the same whether struck or played around the rim but the struck note is particularly sweet, with a good sustain for such a small bowl.

 

The quality of this bowl is exceptional…it is well balanced and fits snugly in the hand.  It has a superb out-turned grooved lip and decorative banding on the outer wall, and concentric circles radiating from the centre of the bowl.    The banding on the inside wall just below the rim is an especially nice feature.  The condition of this bowl is excellent.  It has a lovely antique bronze colour and the look and feel of antiquity.   A teak and suede ringer is included in the price
