Rare Small Superior Quality Antique Lingam Singing Bowl – My Third Smallest!

Small antique Lingam Singing Bowls are incredibly rare, perhaps even more so than large ones, and are highly sought after by collectors, healers and practitioners.  With a diameter of 4 ¾ inches and weighing just 347 grams this little gem is my third smallest antique Lingam, and will likely be snapped up quickly by a collector.

This beautifully crafted 19th Century Lingam Singing Bowl has gently curved walls, a deeply grooved lip, and a rounded bottom.  Two decorative bands of tiny dots encircle the outer rim, and there are lines around its belly.   At its centre there is a neat lingam surrounded by faint circles and a matching naval or yoni  with a circle underneath.

The fundamental note is a fifth octave C#5 (548Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a ringer.  This small antique lingam bowl fits comfortably in the palm of the hand for playing, and its weight prevents it from spinning in the hand. 

It is structurally sound, clean and stain-free.
