This is possibly the smallest antique singing bowls I have encountered in over 30 years of collecting.  I’ve seen many small Manipuri bowls in that time but none quite like this with its rounded bottom and shallow cup-like form. 

 

 

This is an old bowl, possibly 18th century, with signs of wear during its long life, but its condition is generally good.  There are decorative bands around the rim and a circle, now faint, at its centre.

 

The struck note is a middle (4th) octave B (501Hz) and the rim note is a fifth octave C (520Hz).

 

A rare and characterful tiny singing bowl with the patina and feel of antiquity!
