This is a rare tiny antique cup-shaped Lingam Singing Bowl in an excellent state of preservation.

It has been beautifully forged and has a neat central lingam surrounded by concentric circles, a pretty navel underneath, an excellent level lip, and decorative incised bands below the outer rim and a single band around its belly.

This is a responsive bowl that is very easy to play, and it has just sufficient weight to prevent it from rotating on the palm of the hand when playing around the rim.  The fundamental note is a good mid octave Bb.

This charming little bowl would make a perfect gift for someone special!  A teak and suede ringer is included in the price.
