A nice quality small antique Manipuri Singing Bowl that benefits from a nice dot-punched inscription on the outer wall…something of a rarity, especially on a small bowl.

The fundamental note is a middle A (450Hz) when struck or played around the rim.

This bowl is heavy for its size.  It has a grooved lip and decorative circles at its centre, now faint, and incised lines below the outer rim.  It is in excellent structural condition and is basically clean. 

It fits comfortably in the palm of the hand and sings sweetly.  A ringer is included in the price.
