This is a nice quality small antique Manipuri singing bowl with thick even walls and a grooved lip.  It’s a very pretty bowl with attractive contrasting surfaces inside and out.

 

The struck note is a third octave D.  The rim note is the same D3 if played with a suede ringer, but it changes to a powerful fifth octave G# if a wooden one is used.

 

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
