This small antique Manipuri Singing Bowl is very responsive and easy to play.  It has a good middle octave G (395Hz) fundamental when struck or played around the rim with a ringer…a surprisingly low note for a bowl of this size.

This is a nice quality little bowl of good weight for its size, and it has a grooved lip and a pair of concentric circles at its centre.  It is in excellent structural condition, clean and free of stains.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and ringer are included in the price.
