A high quality small antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with thicker than average walls, a grooved lip, circles at its centre and below the inner rim.

This is a multi-harmonic bowl and its fundamental note is a little difficult to determine as it changes from one strike to another.  Notes include G4 (400Hz), a beautiful D6 (1144Hz) and C#6 (1139Hz) plus others…sometimes playing together.

This bowl has a lovely golden colour, fine smooth walls inside and out, and is a pleasure to hold and play.  It is in good clean structural condition.   A ringer is included in the price.
