A fabulous top-quality little 19th century Thadobati Singing Bowl with extra-thick walls and a generous lip. It is has a lovely antique gold colour and is beautifully forged and a delight to hold and play. It is structurally sound, and clean, but any decorative features it may once had have been worn away over time and are no longer in evidence.
This bowl is very responsive and quick to sing. It has a fantastic high fifth octave D singing voice, a relatively uncommon note.
A small silk brocade Tibetan bowl cushion and double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
