Small Manipuri Singing Bowl – Concert Pitch F#4

This is a small and nicely forged antique singing bowl with the typically shallow and slightly splayed Manipuri form.  It has a level, flat, and grooved lip, a pair of circles at its centre, and decorative incised lines high up on the inside wall.

The fundamental note is a good mid octave F# that is virtually concert pitch.   A small Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
