Small Naga Singing Bowl – Incredible Concert Pitch Voice

This is a small and beautifully made antique Naga singing and healing bowl with two excellent and responsive voices. The struck notes is a mid octave G that is quite close to concert pitch, while the played note transmutes from a G4 to a virtually perfect and very high sixth octave C. This high rim note, when it comes through, is surely one of the most powerful, pure and penetrating sounds to emanate from a singing bowl, and it’s all the more extraordinary when one considers that this one is really quite small!

This amazing bowl is in perfect condition save for a very tiny cosmetic issue…a small nick (dig) on the inside edge of the lip (just visible in the centre of the bottom photo). When playing around the rim the ringer misses it completely and it therefore has no impact on the sound whatsoever. This Naga bowl benefits from a large but faint inscription high up on the outer wall.

A double-ended teak and suede ringer is included in the price.
