Small Ultra-Fine 8 ¾” Antique Jambati Singing Bowl – Low F#2 & OM

This is a small, lightweight, and Ultra-fine antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a low second octave F#2 (95Hz) fundamental when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  The F#2 note is very close to perfect pitch.  The rim note changes to a fifth octave G#5 (528Hz) with a wooden ringer.  This fine-walled bowl has an abundance of vibrant energy and is capable of producing the OM sound with a little practice.

This old bowl has exceptionally fine walls resulting from many years of use and ritual cleaning, and the circles at its centre have long since vanished, although the decorative lines around the outer rim remain.

It is structurally sound, and clean, with an attractive bright golden bronze colour inside and out.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
